I had to look up when The Matrix came out: 1999! What a great movie. Legendary story. And so many elements are part of our culture now.<\/span>

Culture<\/strong><\/font><\/span><\/strong><\/font><\/p>

The Neo-bullet dodge<\/a> is now a dance move<\/a>, taking the red pill<\/a> is for finally seeing the truth (also hijacked by far right and conspiracy theorists<\/a> - the directors were not amused).

And of course going down the rabbit hole<\/a> - originally from Alice in Wonderland<\/a> - got a whole new meaning<\/a>.<\/span>

Look&feel<\/strong><\/font>
<\/span><\/strong><\/font>Back when it was normal to speed up fighting scenes to make them look better, this movie slowed them down<\/a>. We are used to the slick videoclip-look they used for contrast between virtual and actual reality, but back then it was new and fresh.<\/span>

Comic<\/strong><\/font>
<\/span><\/strong><\/font>The coloring of this comic took me ages but I'm happy how it worked out. I've got so many sketches for classics that I'd love to make into a comic.

First I'm going to rewatch The Matrix :-D
