From the posters, the pictures on the library walls and furniture in the children&#8217;s department. Making Siep was one of the best projects I have done.<\/p>\n<p>The Den Bosch library was looking for a brand mascot and Message in a Drawing was asked to design the character. After deliberation we chose for an animal (that way we avoided special appearances so it would appeal to many kids from different ages). A frog was chosen.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The frog had to match the library, appeal to very young as well as kids a little older. Above all, it had to be recognizable for the School Libraries in and around Den Bosch.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 190px;\" src=\"\/\/messageinadrawing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Siep_schetsen_turnaround.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"256\" height=\"162\"><span style=\"width: 100%;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.messageinadrawing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Siep_opmaak-klein.png\" rel=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" title=\"Siep_poster-Voorlezen2018\" src=\"https:\/\/www.messageinadrawing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Siep_opmaak-klein.png\" alt=\"Poster Siep: Just one more chapter!\" width=\"451\" height=\"640\" data-id=\"3170\"><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>That was over 5 years ago. Siep is well known to kids. And I still make four posters a year with Siep in a appropriate setting, always busy with reading.
